What is the MAC?
the MAC is a multi-service achievement center open to all Lawrence North and Lawrence Central
High School students during and after school at both sites. The Centers will be readily accessible to ALL students.
What do the LTSF Achievement Centers hope to accomplish?
Students of any academic level can utilize the MAC for extra help with school work, making up tests or assignments, completing projects, writing papers, finding and utilizing resources, and much more. The Centers will provide professional tutoring for foreign language, mathematics, English, social studies and science.
What does The Learning Center hope to achieve?
The main goal of the MAC is to provide opportunities for all students (general ed, special ed, ESOL, and advanced ed) to have access to educational resources during and after school. The Achievement Centers will provide quality, individualized services and attention to each student, making large schools more personal.
