Top 5 Ways for Alumni To Get Involved
1. Give to support current and future students
Support Lawrence Township students by making a financial contribution to the Foundation. Lawrence Township schools are facing deep financial challenges and it has become apparent the Township can no longer continue to rely solely on public tax dollars for the delivery of quality education. Please join our $1,000,000 “Power of Community” Campaign that will fund programs and initiatives that ensure high school and post-high school success for all kids, provide 21st Century learning and skills for all young people, and build a sustainable future for our children and our schools.
2. Volunteer your time in Lawrence Township schools
The MSDLT Positive Impact Program invites you to spend time with our students as mentors, tutors, as a classroom volunteer, and in other capacities. Click here for more info.
3. Join the Alumni Council
The Lawrence Township School Foundation has organized an Alumni Council that represents each decade of Lawrence Township graduates. Each graduating class has a Class Agent to serve as the communication contact for their class, which will be handled primarily through email. The Alumni Executive Council meets regularly to plan activities and communication for LT Alumni. See our current Alumni Council representatives for each decade of grads and the current Class Agents. 4. Be social
Host an event, happy hour, or game watch party in your area. Alumni who are in touch with other alumni are encouraged to host small gatherings. Happy hours and game watch parties are great ways to involve alumni and connect them to Lawrence Township.
