We're raising $1,000,000 for Lawrence Township Kids!

Igniting the Power of Community

The Lawrence Township School Foundation is driving community investment in our schools so that ALL Lawrence Township children have the tools and resources they need to succeed. We reach out to our community to gain the financial support needed to support our current and future Lawrence Township students. Our goal this year is to raise $1,000,000 through the Power of Community.

Funds raised will support the following key initiatives:

High School and Post-High School Success

All children should be prepared through education to succeed in, and after, high school. We are committed to positioning our students for success in school and after graduation.

21st Century Learning

All children deserve the opportunity to be their best. Tomorrow’s economy demands a workforce with enhanced communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills. We must equip every child now with the appropriate tools for learning and success.

Capacity Building

The Foundation must increase its capacity to connect philanthropy and education in order to provide Lawrence Township schools with support and funding necessary for all children.

Sustainable Future

The Foundation must develop solutions for today and anticipate the work for tomorrow. We are committed to building resources that will deliver quality education for the next generation of Lawrence Township students.

Success Stories

WIN by Frank Levinson

Work In Now (WIN) is an after-school program at Lawrence Central High School that allows students to complete their homework in a safe and comfortable location, while having access to computers and tutoring from certified teachers. Upon the recommendation of Frank Levinson, Ph.D. (Lawrence Central, ’71), the Small Word Institute Fund, an advised fund of Silicon Valley Community Foundation, awarded a $330,000 grant to the Lawrence Township School Foundation establishing an endowment to support the WIN program.
