Empowering all children to tap into their unlimited potential!
Mission:
The mission of the Lawrence Township School Foundation is to encourage and support creativity, innovation and excellence that enhance the educational community of the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township.
Vision:
The Lawrence Township School Foundation’s Vision is to impact the life of every student, in every school, every day. We continue to work towards that Vision by focusing upon collaboration, innovation, and energizing our community.
Programs:
The Lawrence Township School Foundation works closely with MSDLT to identify and support vital programs that are key to students' academic success and college preparation. Currently, those programs include:
· AVID (Advancement via Individual Determination) mentoring programs for first-generation college-bound students; · MACs (My Achievement Centers) provides free tutoring at both high schools; · Creative Classroom Grants; and · Up & Running Program to promote physical fitness and activity.
Our ability to raise the funds needed is dependent upon communicating our mission and our vision to our community - alumni, parents, students, educators, business leaders and community investors. With everyones help, the Lawrence Township School Foundation will continue to create positive outcomes for our kids.
History:
The Lawrence Township School Foundation was formed in 1983 by a group of caring and committed parents. Then, as now, we are committed to preparing today’s students to be tomorrow’s leaders.
Since its inception, the Foundation has given back over $3 million to Lawrence Township schools!
